George Bush Intercontinental Airport
The closest airport to our wedding venue is George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), located about 30–35 minutes from Hilton Americas–Houston.
We recommend flying into IAH for the most convenient access. Uber, ride shares, and rental cars are all available at the airport, but we are happy to help you arrange this, as well!
Feel free to arrive a couple days early or stay a little longer—our hotel block rate is valid 2 days before and after the wedding!

All these companies operate from the consolidated Rental Car Center at 17330 Palmetto Pines, Houston, TX 77032, which is accessible via free shuttle buses from all terminals at the airport. Shuttles run every 5 minutes between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., and every 10–15 minutes between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. For international arrivals at Terminal D, proceed through Customs & Immigration to Terminal E to access the shuttle service.
Ride Share Information
To get from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Hilton Americas-Houston using Uber or Lyft, follow the signs for “Ground Transportation” after collecting your luggage. Each terminal has a designated Ride App Pickup Zone clearly marked with Uber and Lyft signage. Head to that area and request your ride through the app. If you prefer taking a taxi, you’ll find official taxi stands just outside the baggage claim area at each terminal. These are well-marked, and airport staff are usually available to help direct you. Both options offer a direct and convenient ride to downtown Houston.
